Ilfracombe to Lee bay

Park in the NT car park in Torrs Park, Ilfracombe. Head out on the south west coastal path. On a clear day you will see Lundy island and the south Wales coastline across the Bristol channel. Lee village is a gem, with pub, craft shop, toilets. This walk offers fantastic village and coastal scenary. 3 miles each way moderate walk with several uphill sections.

The Granite Way - walk or cycle

Park at Meldon Reservoir car park near Okehampton. Toilets. Or park at Okehampton heritage railway station. The Granite way skirts the edge of Dartmoor offering a flat walk or cycle ride with suberb views. 4 miles to Lydford or venture further to Yelverton and onto Plymouth. 

Tamar Lakes

On the Devon / Cornwall border going towards Bude. Park at the activity centre car park. Charges apply. This is a level 3 mile walk around the lake with fine countryside views. Lake activities include fishing and sailing. Cafe open during the summer, toilets year round. Park run takes place here on a Saturday from 9am.
