About Us

We are Richard and Helen and we live and work on-site here at Petrock Holiday Cottages.

We moved to North Devon from South Oxfordshire in search of a change of pace and lifestyle.  We love Devon, its countryside, coast and moors and get out walking and exploring whenever we can.

The cottages sit in over half an acre of gardens with a babbling stream running through, offering peace and relaxation with plenty of places to sit and enjoy the surroundings.  The cottages are comfortably furnished, adorned with original artwork by local artists and are well-equipped, offering a home from home experience. Each cottage also has its own south-facing terrace for private al-fresco dining, and has allocated free parking.  We offer free wifi and take well-behaved dogs by arrangement.

We are well located to explore the dramatic North Devon and Cornwall coast, as well as Dartmoor and Exmoor National Parks.  RHS Garden Rosemoor is at nearby Great Torrington and the Tarka Trail, which offers 31 miles of traffic free biking and walking, is conveniently located a few miles from the cottages.  We have a secure store for surf boards and bikes for guests use.  We look forward to welcoming you to this beautiful corner of the world.
